I did not know this, but apparently, Joe Buck left FOX and is now calling Monday Night Football. Even more reason to watch the far superior Manning Cast. And as a bonus, Joe Buck isn't calling the World Series anymore. Hallelujah. It's been like 25 years, but I'm finally free. I just hope I don’t see the Apple TV+ Friday Night Baseball crew calling the World Series. 😵

The Manning Cast was great television. Saquon Barkley was a solid first guest. Joel McHale was quite mediocre, but because Peyton had such clear disdain for him, this was actually excellent (but don't bring him back). And Shannon Sharpe during a Broncos game that they're making a mess of was an all-timer. He was shouting at the screen during the action, and the reaction of both he and Peyton during the field goal/timeout debacle was A+ entertainment. I don't know why anyone would subject themselves to watching Joe Buck and Troy Aikman (who I already avoided like the plague) when the Manning Cast is an alternative.

What did the analytics say about Denver's decision? I know many times when people believe the coach is making a very bad decision - the analytics will either support the coach or make it something close to a 50/50 call. Last night looked to me like an instance where it very much looked like the coach screwed up - and the analytics would also say it was a royal screw up? What the heck was he thinking...

It's Nantz and Romo that I cannot stand listening to.

I've heard conflicting reports on the analytics, but this seems pretty illuminating to me:

Another wild Sunday in the NFL. Miami and the New York football Jets with comeback wins!
And Detroit and Jacksonville also in the win column.

I picked up Tyreek Hill in the 4th round of my fantasy draft. I feel good about that.

I picked up Tyreek Hill in the 4th round of my fantasy draft. I feel good about that. I have the Colts Defense in one league. They did ZERO against the Jaguars. I don't like to overreact to Week 1 happenings, but after two weeks, it's become apparent that I need to find a new defense.

Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay still "own" Chicago. Now 24-5 in his career against Da Bears.
That capped off a pretty miserable Sunday against the spread. 3-10. Ouch. Fortunately it's a long season.

My Steelers lost to the Patriots like they always seem to do.

dont know what you have in your market but instead of getting buffalo at miami we got kc at indianapolis. dont know what the execs at cbs were thinking that a gane between 2-0 and 0-2 would attract more eyeballs than a game between two undefeated teams.

My Steelers are off to a 1-2 start after losing to the Browns. Mike Tomlin is finally finding out what it's like to not have a Hall of Fame quarterback for his entire career. Mitch Trubisky is in line with a lot of the stiffs that Bill Cowher had to deal with for most of his career in Pittsburgh.
