Excited for this one. Louisville's block and physicality on the pins are probably going to be too much for WKU, but I'd love to see WKU make it competitive on their court for their home opener.
"Just got back. First time in history I didn't have time to finish my large Diet Coke during a Gopher match. Yikes." – spikerthemovie after watching PSU @ Minnesota (10/11/08)
"I'm not judgmental in any way on anything. People might avoid kids that don't look like they play well with others or have eating issues or sexuality issues. I don't care about those things. The world is made up of a lot of different groups. If you want to go somewhere and do something, you can do it here." - RR

I really think people are sleeping on Louisville again, they were my favorite team to watch last season they played such clean volleyball. So few weaknesses in their game. Debeer should definitely be in the conversation for POY.

Checks both polls, "#3, and #4, with one point separating them from Minnesota at #3."
They don't get much attention. The stories entering the season have all been B1G teams Nebraska getting back to the championship, Wisconsin and their repeat chances and the early season lost, Minnesota even Ohio State. Texas with all their transfers and the hype. I have seen so little mention of Louisville, the numbers are numbers. I understand they are relatively new to their success as a program so I understand they have to be consistently good for a long time to get a following just saying.

That's to be expected. The "national" media is but a handful of outlets that repeat the same storyline and the NCAA keeps shoving that Big 10 loving chatter box Michelle Chester down our throats every year. But real volleyball fans aren't sleeping on Louisville.

“People are sleeping in Louisville”… They’re ranked third in the nation despite losing their two best players / leaders. I think they are getting all the respect they deserve.
I think they're talking about how no one is talking about Louisville, which is true. we just don't have the fanbase. the big talks of this year have been the B1G, Texas, Florida, Stanford, even Kentucky is being talked about more. Im juts hoping they show that they deserve to be where they are with their upcoming top 10 matchups
