I'm interested to see how much Rice will push the Ducks. That could be a close one. If the Ducks go with the starting line up from their match vs. PSU, I think it will be easier, but interesting to see if Lewis will get back into the lineup. She is a great player, but just not a lot of margin for error when off/connection not there.

Also, teams in this tourney are a combined 8-0! Rice winning the LSU tournament with wins over a good Houston team (sweep) and LSU on the road in five. Last year’s Rice team swept a good San Diego team in the first round of the NCAA tournament and lost a close 4-set battle in the preseason last year against Oregon at home.
UC Davis won the Montana tourney last weekend. (Montana, UTA and North Dakota).
Oregon won the Portland State tourney. (LBSU in a nail biting 5-setter and 3-0 win over the host).

The Oregon vs. Rice match was a battle last season. Rice's setter is so good and a former club teammate for Oregon's libero. Should be a fun match.
