Watching the replay now… Was Hannah Clayton impossible to stop at Iowa or is that just a Purdue thing?

Hannah Clayton was having her way last night. Raven Colvin really muscled her way in as well. Eva Hudson was so fun to watch in person. I already knew Raven from last year, but Hannah and Eva were phenomenal. They wouldn’t let their mistakes bring them down and get in their head. They went on to the next play and got the point. I have seen too many times that they players can be hard on themselves and you can tell that they are rueing about that last mistake. This team seems to have a swagger about them. They have confidence. Last night was a rollercoaster. It was a little scary, but I liked that Purdue has a 5 setter under their belt now. They know how to tough it out and win a 5 setter. Purdue is still trying to gel as a team. Now onto the next match.

I was at the game last night. What a great match, and I’m glad I saw it in person. Utah defense was really good and wow Robinson is going to create problems for people. It did not matter what you put in front of her, she could find the edge/top of the block easily. Great adjustments by Purdue. They have an excellent group of servers. Renner had several missed connections with Colvin. In person, it looked like the ball was set too high. That will get ironed out, I’m sure.

Launire sure seems to know how to get the most out of her Outsides. She develops them really well. They are usually monsters by their senior year haha

Man, who's doing the scheduling for Utah?!?
Two matches yesterday that both went five sets - what, five hours on the court? - and they're back playing like fifteen hours later!?
Yeah, they twenty year olds, they have lots of energy and recover fast, etc. But that's ridiculous. That gets people hurt. That is not right.

I am not able to go, but watching on Big Ten Plus. I am very interested in this match. This team just took Utah to 5 sets yesterday. They will be a tough opponent.

Watching the replay now… Was Hannah Clayton impossible to stop at Iowa or is that just a Purdue thing? Gotta have ball control to run middle. Iowa has never heard of her.
