To be fair- yes, SD was supposed to be good. I do not think people thought they were going to be THIS good. And, many folks thought Louisville would be "fine", and not as good as they are bc of who they lost. Petrie and DBK said "lol brb watch this" and put together top five teams lol

My suggestion is that JFO likely thought she was building a schedule that, as you suggested, was somewhere in between these two ends.

Ohio State needs a match win, but first they need a set win. If they get swept by USD that'll be 1-9 in sets in their first 3 matches. Most of them have been well contested, but that starts doing a number on you.
