We'll see how naive I am Their rating may be a little high, but I do think that they’ll take advance of mistakes significantly better than the gators. Our block is going to struggle with the speed of their offense, when they struggle with blocking disciple already. |

I found it more than slightly hilarious that some usual haters, lurkers and stalkers trolled me because I said Markova was at times streaky, inconsistent, plus not-the-Second-Coming at Syracuse: giving some data to illustrate. They implied she'd shred Stanford, in fact. Some *facts* from that match: .188 (12-6-32); three SE; three D; four BA. She also had a service error on set point in the first set. Is she good? Yes, which is what I stated in my post! "Shredded" Stanford? Hardly...but haters are gonna hate.   Now, as far as this match is concerned, it is a toss-up for me; I'll give the nod to MINN. You 'experts'? [*crickets and radio-silence*] |
