I know there aren't many Miami fans on VT, but I wanted a place we might could talk about our Hurricanes. I know the season has already started, but I couldn't find another one so I made one of my own. Currently 6-0 and heading to the UCF invitational as we speak, I think there's a lot to be excited about! A few freshman have broken into the lineup already, including Feliciano at L, Knight at MB, and Colon at OH (who had 18 kills in the 5 set win over UNLV)!

I had no idea Flomarie went to Miami! I really liked her at the U18 World Championships. She's a stud.

I follow them. Thanks for starting a thread. They certainly didn’t do themselves any favors this past weekend. I saw the UIC match but not the UCF. Will catch the replay. From what I saw, they’ve got issues all over. Too many sets in unattackable locations, pins that are too inefficient, serving quality down from last season, and wow they don’t dig anything (as evidenced by their DPS # and conf rank). When I saw the UIC result and stats (before watching on replay) I figured they lost the serve/pass game but that didn’t seem to be the case. UIC had more dynamic pins and grit. They have a chance at a little redemption this weekend, as this will actually be their first home matches this season. That said , I don’t have much confidence they can match up with Oregon in particular. Would be great too if the coaching staff could get the back row to step it up too.
