Strange match between FGCU and VCU
VCU wins set 1, 25-15.
Then in set 2, VCU leads 14-13 and NEVER scores again. FGCU wins set 2, 25-14.

Pass Proficiency Rating is AWFUL for DSs. Unofficially... Ellie passed a 1.71 in Serve Recieve and 1.00 in Digs Emily passed a 2.5 in Serve Recieve and 0.75 in Digs Trinity passed a 1.5 in Serve Recieve and 1.27 in Digs Birdie passed a 1.67 in Digs Yikes. Is this for just today or for the season so far? This for just for today. Haven't had time to rewatch the other games and get the stat for the season. |

Our best non-conference win might be Florida State, and even they might beat us (because we certainly aren’t beating Wisconsin in Madison). Definitely a rebuilding year for the Gators.

This is me just now realizing that Lily Felts now plays for FGCU. Not only that, but she isn’t starting/she just got into the game towards the end of set 1. She went from being a starting 6 rotation OH at a big division 1 school to riding the bench at a mid major program. Albeit it’s a really good mid major program, but still.

They have Wohlert on the bench too. Also surprising. But everyone needs to earn their spot and the coach may have been more comfortable with the existing crew. |

This is one of those weekends a team just has to survive. Not the same team that played Stanford and Minnesota tough. Hopefully Beason is back and Florida finds their mojo again next week.

There needs to be a change in the back row! Passing is subpar. In the game, during FGCU the DSs passed a 1.98 in serve receive and 1.05 pass rating for digs. In this game, the serve Recieve is higher, it's now over 2 but digs pass rating is still in the low 1s.
