Kentucky looks bad in actually every area lmao. This is the first set of Creighton match all over so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt to clean it up

You know, when these teams can avoid the blatant errors, this is a very good matchup. A bit of a fun rally that Wisconsin won to make it 15-11.
Another double contact called to make it 15-11. That's the 5th double contact I've seen called today.
And a service error. 15-12.
Nice kill by Kentucky. More of that, please. By both teams.

I didn't see the ref's indication, but it had to be, right?

Her foot might not have been on the line because it was completely over. Frankly, another of her serves was extremely close as well. (I'm exaggerating a bit but it was very definitely a foot fault) On the other side, calling doubles on a setter is apparently a thing. I think it was the right call and also was surprised to see it called.

17-13 Wisconsin after a Gregorski ace as a serving sub for Franklin. Orzol back to the float. I didn't like the topspin jump serves so much the first weekend. Good teams tend to give up an occasional ace with a lot of good passes on them.

okay i havent watched Wisconsin at all this season but does Smrek not play? Opposite of the second setter of the 6-2, so not on court for the start, and then rotated through quickly

I know they've gotten some blocks, but it still doesn't look that good.
