Seems to me that coach Cook is stubborn about subbing players in during a match when someone isnt performing. Need to be flexible and make changes when a player is struggling during a match.

teams with championship aspirations do not have the problems that UW had today. they seemed a step late to almost everything, like they were not exactly awake. perhaps that is a bit harsh.....but i've attended matches for almost 20 years and do not recall the Huskies playing this poorly. and even when it seemed like they did they would still find a way to win.

Northwestern killed it in set one winning 25-19 over Pepperdine
18 kills, 25 digs, hit .333 (Miller with 11 digs already!)

this is NOT the same Pepperdine team that played this morning..... frustrating. Exactly. Some schools rise to the challenge playing a ranked team, and struggle when not. But also could be poor planning to have WA play a morning game. |

Megan Miller’s been great so far, excited to see some development, especially in terms of her floor defense. She’s really turned into a solid Libero.
