The match actually has already started and video is live, FYI. The livestats revised start time was lying to us. oh no! i just got here for the fake new start time they posted and am realizing they're already underway. thanks for trying to let me know! Sure thing! Looked like the Toreros were clicking toward the tail end of the first set after a bit of a slow start. |

seems like a few non-starters are getting time in this one. i think USD's bench could comfortably sweep UConn...looking forward to hopefully seeing some more toreros get the chance to see the court tonight.

soft shots falling on USD in the third. tips, roll shots, two-handed setter dumps are falling. plus a few sloppy hitting errors by USD and UConn goes up 11-7.

Aces, Edwards coming up big on a few points & defence starting to figure out UConn's soft shots has helped. USD opened this set looking like they thought this one was already over & are having to make up for it in the back half of the set.

17s. Guessing there are subs in. USD looks a bit off Only subs in this set have been Pries as a serving sub, Jaworowski in for a few points, and Goddard for Stoner. For the most part the starters have been playing this set...they've just been much sloppier than usual. Regardless of the too close for comfort 3rd set, Frohling seals it up and it goes down as a sweep for USD. It probably would have looked pretty bad if UConn took a set off them. |
