Should I drive down for this on Friday? added links in the op to the USD ticket info for matches at their site. SDSU did not list any ticket info. but yeah, san diego/ucla could be interesting, especially if luper is playing.

Should I drive down for this on Friday? Depends where you're driving from. Anything in the LA area heading south on a Friday is a dicey propostion!

the thread/tournament title makes me think that a fun "SDSU/USD Challenge" could involve the San Diego USD and SDSU playing the South Dakota USD and SDSU (though the Dakota schools are conference mates so they probably wouldn't play each other, especially if it was played in San Diego)

Last year, UCLA had May, Fleck, McCall, Luper, Ndiaye, Jacobs, Hadrych, Dodson, Alupei, Ryan, Campeau, Martin and still couldn't beat a San Diego team with very suspect setting in 5 sets.
This year, I expect San Diego to sweeeeeep the Bruins, no problem.

San Diego is favored. If Luper plays for UCLA will be much closer. McKissock needs to set better than she did last weekend though.

This year, I expect San Diego to sweeeeeep the Bruins, no problem. First off, no Luper, no chance for UCLA. If Luper is available, then maybe 1 in 10 if the passing is solid. Yeah, still pretty poor odds, but something to cling to I suppose.
