What are Miami and SC's chances against the Ducks? Haven't followed those teams much this season so far. Miami was looking very promising to be in the top 25 until last weekend. :-( The 5-set loss to a tough UCF team (which they scored more points than) on the road certainly wasn't unexpected, but the UI-Chicago 1-3 loss hurt them. They have a nice win over UNLV on the road the weekend before (who just beat Kansas last weekend). They will be tough. South Carolina is a good team with some good wins. 3-0 over UN-Omaha (who just went 5 with Creighton), Two 3-0 Wins over Cincinnati who beat FSU. But they are REALLY struggling with the ACC teams they have played. 0-3 loss to UNC, 1-3 to Wake Forest and 2-3 to Clemson!! Not sure if one or more players were out during that stretch, 9/2-9/6, because that is a rough go. It seems like they are back however with the two sweeps of Cincinnati. Oregon flying back home from two tough matches in Minnesota then hopping on a plane to Miami playing in the Eastern time zone could make this weekend quite a battle for the Ducks. Need to bring it!

Gamecocks take set five on a reversed touch call. I didn't see a touch and neither did the Miami announcers so I think they got this right after the challenge.

The Early start time and travel fatigue could hurt the Ducks against USC but talent wise it should be a sweep or 3-1 win imo. Especially with USC playing a long emotional match last night.
