Nice comeback by Florida. Beason has improved so much and is a great interview! Good to see her back and most of all healthy

Caanan: 7 Digs Mckissock: 16 digs Victoria needs to not get in her own head and let errors spiral. 3 in a row to start the 3rd set and the second 2 were totally unforced. She would have hit .230 otherwise.

Also way too many service errors and easy serves to start. But two come from behind wins showed grit and determination, and some elite level plays in the stretch in all 3 sets. This team will only get better.

Kind of like in the much higher stakes 5th set against Stanford where we had a 5-1 lead and Victoria has 4 hitting errors in a row (along with a few service errors sprinkled in by others, but still...)

This team will only get better. Essix had only 2 errors. Her problem came with overpasses that she handled awkwardly. I think in these instances she was not confident to pass to extend the Florida possession and was not in position to redirect or kill the ball effectively resulting in two or three easy balls back over the net. It is a learning process so I don't think it was something major to be concerned about. Improvement needed for sure.

Male announcers unless at Hawaii or BYU know so little about the game of volleyball that it is so embarrassing when they speak. I'm guessing Josh Crow wasn't one of the announcers tonight since it was ESPNU? I was at the game is the only reason I'm asking, so I wasn't able to hear the commentary. He is usually one of the announcers when it's slated for the SECNetwork and Josh actually knows his stuff plus has great commentary (to your point it does seem often that announcers have either game knowledge or commentary skills, but not both ).

How did I miss that Knop is now assistant coaching. Or is she a volunteer assistant? After graduating from Florida in December 2018, Knop began her coaching career as an Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at the College of Charleston in the Colonial Athletic Association. She was part of that staff for three years and was invited by Coach Wise to join the Gators staff as a volunteer assistant earlier this summer.
