This is all of the R2's fault lol I'm gonna have to watch the earlier parts of the match because I missed most of the drama

Check out Sis's stat line:
11 kills 10 errors (!) 63 attempts (!!) .016 HP
That maybe the lowest above-zero hitting percentage I've ever seen.

Rice for sure booked itself a top25 nod with this win tbh and if not then avca voters are on crack

Creighton had 32 hitting errors in this match, only 16 for Rice.

By my count, Rice has gone to 5 sets in 5 out of 11 matches so far:
Won in 5 over LSU, Texas Tech, Kansas State and now Creighton. Lost in 5 to Oregon.

Also #23 Kansas just lost to UCF, and #21 WKU lost to TAMU. Even without a win today they would've had a very good chance to move up.

This loss is on Creighton getting dominated at the net again, and Sis being in a slump (from the Creighton perspective, obviously Rice did things well).

For whatever reason, Norah Sis had another bad match and really hasn't been the same this entire season so far. I think that she was noticeably more explosive last year. The positives were that Jazz finally is playing RS and looking good. She's probably the best threat at RS that Creighton has had in a few years. The front of the setter sets to the middles are also looking better. If Sis can get back to her form last year, then Creighton's potential this year is higher than last year.
Congrats to Rice. They have good hitters, a great middle blocker, and their libero is really good.

Not even just kill blocks, they're not getting a ton of good touches either. That's going to keep them back from getting a seed. It killed them here and against Kentucky.

Good point about the blocking. Today, if I remember correctly, they only had four blocks. I think that Kiara is still getting used to playing again and I think that she can become a good blocker by the end of the season.
