Teams trade sideouts. Another kill for Sis. Is she heating up?

Kansas State has figured out how to block Sis and play her cross-court shot. Kendra Wait answers by setting the right but Creighton's RS struggles to get kills.
Yet Creighton's serve has helped them recover with a couple of aces in the set. 13-9 Jays.

Wait sets middle and she hits long. Short run for the Wildcats is ended by a spinning tip shot from Sis that avoids the block toward the line.

Keeley Davis with a powerful smash. Stats frozen again, I think it's 15-11.

Creighton up 16-11.
The view really shows how much work the block has to do to improve.

Kendra Wait has been really good in this match, setting for Creighton. Looking ahead, but tomorrow's tilt between Wait and Graham is going to be a "Setter Special."

Creighton up 16-11. The view really shows how much work the block has to do to improve. It's interesting from this angle. Creighton's block has been a weakness all season. It's showed up in certain combinations once in a while. Creighton relies heavily on floor defense, diverse settiing, bic, the slide, Davis, and Sis to make up for the lack of a block, lack of a RS attack, and lack of a quick middle attack.

And just like that, a Creighton block makes it 19-13!
Now 20-13 as Jays are rolling in their best rotation.

I dont like the block's positioning. It's easy to hit around

Sis blocked and we are at 20-15 (I think).
Creighton trying to tip and it's not working, nor is Norah Sis going crosscourt but Creighton gets an OOS kill from the RS.
Kill by Kansas State down the middle and it's 21-16.

Creighton tools the RS block. 22-16. Wait to serve.
Sideout Kansas State as they exploit the lack of a block. 22-17.
Now 22-18 as a BHE is called on Wait.
Timeout KBB.
Not much atmosphere for a neutral court game at Rice. No announcer or music. Creighton providing their own video.

Looks like Creighton is up 22-18 but called a timeout because KSU scored a couple points?
