Since this thread has been dead for a while, what are we thinking for the offensive system? 6-2? 5-1? 6-2? Hames probably won’t be back for the games this weekend, but you never know. Ally coming back is more likely. Hames hasn't been able to practice this week and will not be playing. Cook says Ally has been in practice and is doing more and more each day, but she is getting limited reps so I don't think we'll see her on the court yet either. I'm expecting a 6-2 with Orr and Evans, with Orr in the 5-1 for a rotation when Lauenstein serves. Cook wants to work towards a 5-1 with Kennedi (Nebraska is actually hitting best when she's setting) but she's inconsistent right now and running a 5-1 would not allow her to have any breaks. edit: this info is coming from the most recent Sports Nightly convo with Cook and JB Honestly I couldn’t agree more with what you said! I love Nicklin, but for Orr’s sake and development, maybe having Nicklin out right now wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. Obviously hope she’s okay, just thinking technically. |
