There have been at least five UCLA points where at least two UW players indecisively watched the ball hit the floor.
What's up?

The RS hitting slides when they're left front sure beats the Annie Drews Backcourt Runaround Specialty.

Ella May Powell is not good enough to give her this 'we won't call her for doubles' treatment.

A slide from ndiaye I never seen that She hit one against USC too. It should be an option used for Ndiaye since she doesn't always put balls away. They tried it a few times when she was a freshman and Devon Chang was setting her. Of course, when Chang got hurt, they had to move away from it because, well, Lane and Pak could barely get the ball out their hands without doubling.

Ella May Powell is not good enough to give her this 'we won't call her for doubles' treatment. Agreed. After watching Oregon v Stanford today, EMP is just meh compared to Pukis.

Ella May Powell is not good enough to give her this 'we won't call her for doubles' treatment. Orr. Miner. I see a trend. i will say- the alternative is watching a match where almost every rally ends with a double. My high school had a great vball team. my junior year, in the state championship match, the R1 called nine doubles on our setter IN THE FIRST SET. Lol at some point it's like -- bro, that's how she sets. Idk what you want. She was called for 16 all season (which in MI is literally 60-75 matches) before this. He called her for like 4 more in S2 and S3. We lost -10, -22, -17. Not sure it would've resulted in us winning, but it's pretty hard to ask someone to change how they set mid-match.
