Set 1 wasn't bad...few small runs by OSU but they competed. Set 2 was brutal. The life of a Hawk fan

Critical win for OSU. Iowa's arena is always an odd one to play in, the gym vibes are funky. Hoping for a win and good kick off to the Big Ten season. That was Carver, air currents from being so far below ground level and an open entrance deck made floats difficult to receive. Sound at court level is also odd when the arena is only a quarter full. We play at Xtream in Coralville now. Actually literally probably the closest arena to OSU’s Covelli Center in the conference. |

Tough way for the Hawks to go out in set 3. Lose two set points, Toy gets blocked at 24 all then Tessier goes back to her & she rainbows a tip that lets OSU get set and it was all over.

Tracking the ball in Carver was brutal as a passer. |
