I’m going to protest if I see skinner back on the left on Saturday😒 all I want now is for her to play 6 rotations on the right. I've always been in favor of Madi on the right. She just opens up the offense on that side of the net, but can still be terminal on the left if needed. I'm not sure if her back row defense/passing will hold up against good teams, but it'd be nice to see her train there during some of the conference matches. Yeah she started out really well on the left at the beginning of this match. Phillips was just not cutting it. |

Do you think this changes anyone's rankings? For me it doesn't no not for me.. until Texas loses they will be #1 or unless Louisville goes undefeated in conference play... |

Not sure if this will resonate with anyone else, but Kansas legit feels like the type of team that could push TX and Baylor and other top teams to five, but... like also could maybe probably get swept by TCU. Haha just some pieces on that team that can be REALLY on... or really NOT on. Lmao this is it! Let’s see how they play in the next game… |

I wanna give a HUGE shoutout to Parra and Caffey. If Parra doesn come in and take some huge swings and go on MANY service runs we are done in 3. Caffey her offense is just one of a kind. JE PLEASE HAVE THESE 2 IN THE STARTING LINEUP I'll take Caffey's offense over Bella's block at this point. As long as Caffey can put up an efficient block, we can let our back row pick up the slack. I'd also like to see Parra get more comfortable in the starting line-up. Her blocking against the slide needs A LOT of work (and blocking in general), but she's a great server, helps out in serve-receive, and can be a terminal hitter. |

I can see the seeding going #1 to Louisville in this scenario because the gap of SOS will be pretty large. But, I don't think TX will keep playing close games and I don't think Louisville will go undefeated. |

What are you talking about🙄 He did nothing wrong so what exactly did he get away with? ok lemme explain it to you like you're five. jerritt elliott's attitude in the first two sets when UT was not doing so hot...what african american, or female coach (athlete, person, in general), would get away with his conduct? like lets be real...this doesn't start or end with him. we've seen it time and time again, from kavanaugh during his supreme court questioning, we've seen it with djokovic, whereas two black, female counterparts of theirs (ketanji brown jackson, serena williams) did/do not get treated the same way. While I am a Texas fan…as a black man I spiritually agree with this 😬 |

I also love the gratuitous white male demographic dig. Meh. Compare how perfect Obama had to be to what was elected next. It's a thing. Wait. Are we saying Trump doesn't get any criticism for how he behaves? Is that the tack we're taking here? It's like some of you are inviting a conversation where African Americans and women are put forward acting like jerks to compare them to white men acting like jerks. What planet are you people on? You want to have your prejudices, have your prejudices. You're going to have them anyway. But being confrontational about race on a forum about volleyball is not smart, IMO. There is little chance of this turning into a productive conversation. I'm going to keep at challenging the original premise and saying I don't agree with it, and keeping it there, because doing anything beyond that is going to be counter productive. I recommend we all agree to disagree and keep the white male privilege conversation to a minimum. But, I don't know. Maybe y'all want to dig deeper into this. |
