Surprised PSU hasn't gone to Hurta to set. Looks like she has played so not redshirting.

In a series that is now 12-47 all time for the Badgers? Come on! Oh I knew they were gonna win, I just wanted it to go 5 lol If it would have, PSU would have won and I would have puked! This series has been a world of pain for Badger fans!

Only got a chance to read this thread, unfortunate that PSU couldn’t take it, I like this team. Did every Wisconsin player’s head stay intact? Kash has been collecting heads this whole season. I actually wonder how many she’s at by now. Kash is lethal. She needs a setter asap.

I feel like if Penn State pulls that out, we're looking at a five-setter, and it's close. Not with how schizo the setting was for Penn State.

I did not have that feeling. I felt they were just clinging on. They have a few things to figure out first. Well it was 31-29, so seemed to me like Wisco was just clinging on too. Or you can see it as a set where PSU hit their ceiling. It's always a judgement call, but they were riding Kash and a period of poor play by the badgers. I don't think it would have changed the dynamic of the match.

I knew we were in for it when the setter (sp?) sent three attacks over on two, Kash had to stop and roll shot practically behind her, and the middle had to bump it over all in the same rally!!!

Kash was really good when Wisconsin had all of those match points but made poor decisions out of the back row...
KSC should give Hurta (Frosh setter some time to see if there is something different)
inserting Markley and Morioka gave PSU some life at the end and should probably work themselves into the lineup...
Penn State had its chances to force it four but that net violation, swing out of the back row by williams, and the ace late gave Wisconsin the match

If they got trammell going then I think it would have been a more competitive game overall. She had to tip like almost every set.

YIKES, ok I admit I was watching Stanford / Washington but it seems like one of those "close sets" that wasn't that close.

revenge match at rec 11.19 where Wisconsin has only won TWICE (EVER) in program history... most recent win was in 2018 and before that 2002

I can’t want it for Penn State more than Penn State wants it for themselves. Just for that, I am rooting for Baylor over Texas! Okay, not really, even though Baylor wins would help the Badger RPI. Pressley was a great thorn in the Badger side, however, to be fair!

Good rebound match for the Badgers. Not pretty, but a win in the B1G...itz a take. Looking at the box score, it seems a little lopsided. Except for set3, perhaps it was. Devyn dented the floor and hit .524 with only 1 error. Franklin matched Devyn with 12 kills. Orzol hit negative tonight and gets her mulligan for the season, given her defensive show. Wisconsin served very well. Again, it didn't look very pretty. But from my view, Wisconsin clearly out hustled PSU in this match. That was significant to me.
Williams paced the Lions with 17 kills @.419! But PSU really gave it away with 25 hitting errors. Add in 8 service errors, and now you know.

Yeah, but Wisconsin has really struggled with errors and really didn't tonight. I didn't think it was ugly against another top blocking team in the country, and, you know, now 12-47. Any win versus PSU is flipping awesome!
