If NW had a better libero, they would be pretty hard to beat. Miller just doesn't fit the bill, IMO. Seriously? Miller is the root of NW’s problem? How about if they had a functioning left side who had the ability to keep the ball in the court? What does she have 12, 13 errors tonight in less than three sets? TEMI THOMAS-AILARA entered the B1G five years ago with a lot of fanfare and a undisciplined powerful arm. Now, five years later she has her undisciplined arm and a game the doesn’t seem to have grown at all. Ten minutes ago she went to the floor in an attempt to pancake a ball, but turned her head and body away… from what? She looked like a high school kid trying to make a play they saw on tape, somewhere. Not someone who was versed in the skill. IMO they would be better off without her. She brings nothing except an occasional big arm-when it isn’t, as it is tonight, a error machine. As for Miller, she is what she is, just as she was at Nebraska-a average defender and above average server. And not the reason Northwestern is a botttom tier B1G team. We’ll see how it goes 🏐 |

Wenaas is digging like she’s Samedy. Love to see it She plays 120% every game and is always covering a lot of court. Sure her hitting % is down, but she is so important on why we have won the matches we have this season. Really happy other fans are finally recognizing that. |

Yeah so maybe having two rotations with Wucherer, Shaff and a middle FR was not the best decision.
