It’s not the defense. It’s the attack. Meyer has difficulty establishing any type of consistent tempo with any of her hitters. 2 blocks. it's defense Offensive production sucks.

well, the party/honeymoon is officially over for the Beach & Tyler Yep, they lost because of coaching. He brought in his transfers thinking that was the answer, obviously it isn’t. There just seems to be no chemistry with players he has on the court. Hoping he makes some changes, but I doubt he will.

Yes, talk about embarrassing. Last year Beach swept Fullerton twice.

I like Fulleton's setter. Sealy tries to poach her in 3...2...1... Athletic, proud of that girl but she’s on the shorter side, it’s just that the Beach doesn’t have an OH that can hit over her - definitely a 6-2 setter at a bigger producing school

Well this is surprising. Just goes to show that you have to show up every night and find a way to beat your opponent. I think the Big West is a one-team bid to the NCAA’s so losing to a team you’re expected to beat is rough. Hawaii needs to start strong and finish strong against both Fullerton and the Beach as I’m sure both teams would love to give Hawaii its first loss in conference.

Yeah I think the BW is staring one automatic bid straight in the face at this point

There just seems to be no chemistry with players he has on the court. Hoping he makes some changes, but I doubt he will. that's simplistic. He did bring in ssome solid transfers. He had to. as to how he's been utlizing this roster, I'm sure that's a matter of debate.

What is glaring is the way the matches are scheduled in Cali. We have two matches back to back. Adding to slight travel grogs and lack of recovery time, they both can play each today well early from the weekend. It kind of sucks that these schedules are allowed. When the teams come here, we have to play them back to back as well. And in the past, when the first match goes five, we have lost the second match because we are playing on fumes. I guess it builds character.

Offensive production sucks. well, yeah, Beach has not had a 2nd OH all year. & tonite magnified that even more. Callie dropped off from the first set, but she had 17 kills and hit for a high %, and Meyer was 6/19 with no errors. But except for the slide, Callie rarely gets a good crack at the ball. Jordan had about 4 errors from the back row on decent sets—she simply hit long (really long). Chacon gets a lot of garbage sets and just has to find a way to get the ball over. LB doesn’t play with the deer in the headlights look that was evident in years past, but they lack the rhythm that those teams sometimes had.

By set, LB hit .444, .108, .306, .243. Fullerton, .283, .345, .316, .303 So it seems like the problem is they let Fullerton hit .300?

I haven't seen Victoria O'Sullivan play in several matches. Did she lose her starting OH position or did she get hurt?

Crawford with 16 kills and 10 digs for Fullerton! Nice performance by her.
