Does anyone know if Chaussee actually pronounces her name as "Chaw-say"? In French it would be "Cha-see-ay" I don't even pretend to be able to pronounce French, but she does pronounce it chaw-SAY |

In French it would be "Cha-see-ay" I don't even pretend to be able to pronounce French, but she does pronounce it chaw-SAY My family is Quebecois and we all agree we would say "chaw-see-ay", but I think in phonetic European french they would drop the "ay" to "cha-see". Either way, it's like a very Midwestern way to pronounce it which I don't hate. My own last name is similar. |
