Many of Grote's attacks are on slides to the right, so it evens it out a little bit. It will be interesting to see if Bush is able to continue her recent success on the left. I wouldn't be surprised to see her regress against a tough block, but she's been looking good the last few matches. That's true, although the "slide" starts in the middle :>) If Bush is running into the Kipp block, I expect UW to go to Grote (slide), Hoffman (backrow), or Powell (dump). Will also put Hoffman on Miner in the frontrow, which is what UW wants.

Match will be on:
Pac-12 Networks (National)
Pac-12 Washington
Sling Orange + its Sports Extra ($46) has the six regional Pac-12 Networks, including Pac-12 Washington, but not Pac-12 Networks (National). Any live match on Pac-12 National should be on one of the regional networks.

But then again, I've never understood a lot about the PAC12 Network.

I've never understood why PAC12 National doesn't show up on Sling. But then again, I've never understood a lot about the PAC12 Network. Well, Comcast originally included the local regional network (Washington, in my case) on their "main" tier, but you needed to add the Sports Pack to get the other regional networks and Pac-12 National. You could, however, log into Pac-12.com and stream all seven networks. Later, Comcast flipped it, giving you Pac-12 National in the "main" tier, but putting the regional networks in the Sports Pack, but I'd already cut the cord by then. I'm not sure how they do it now. Part of the problem was that the Pac-12 Networks bought into the "cable" paradigm, when the quality-gap between "broadcasting" and "streaming" was considerable. Now, there is no gap. Ultimately, due to being forced to swallow seven networks, instead of one, many cable, satellite, and streaming providers failed to pick them up. It was good for Volleyball and Softball fans, in that they had LOTS of program slots to fill with live matches/games and replays. Of course, because there were way more ad slots to sell than there was demand from advertisers to buy them, the ad rates they could command precipitously fell. Because they had to produce programming for seven networks that were broadcasting 24/7 -- but also because everyone, from the college presidents/chancellors on down, had bought into what was faulty math -- costs skyrocketed, while revenues plummeted.

FYI: I have Comcast and both Pac-12 Network and Pac-12 Washington are provided in the lineup. I can also use the Pac-12 app with my Xfinity login to stream these and the other Pac-12 regionals on my computer, phone, Roku or Apple TV 4k.

Love both these programs so much but being from Washington I have to vote Huskies in 5, I'm ready for one messy marathon game between these two.

AIS, it has been quite a while since I had Comcast. I believe that only the Pac-12 Network (National) was in HD at that time. A limitation I don't like is that I can't use my Sling credentials to log into Pac-12.com if an earlier match/game is running long.

All comes down to *if*...and it seems to be a rather big if....Sami Francis can play. Otherwise UW 3-1.
I thought she was "a go" for that Oregon match. Would have been way tighter had she been available. Contrary to VT's resident-Vegas-attorney-who-deep-down-hates-Stanford, I stand by my previous post quoted here. Of course there are other factors involved and yet if Francis is healthy and ready? SU in 4.

I like Washington here also, Stanford is winless at home this season and has only won one set in two home matches, though those two losses have been to the current top two teams in the country Good deep analysis. Losing two at home against #1 and #2 kind of offsets losing two at home. Even with Francis, Stanford looks dull and confused. UW will outserve and probably outblock them although UW's blocking hasn't been up to their usual standard. The less said about Stanford's defense, the better. Dubs 3-0. No, I'm not trying to hedge my Stanford support by picking them to be swept.

According to the poll options, a Stanford sweep is literally impossible. We love to see it.

LOL, got to love that, and even if Stanford is playing well, they likely find some way to lose at least one set. They'll have at least one set with 7 or 8 SEs, so that will be a gimme for U-Dub unless they play follow the leader. I just watched a replay of Nebraska @ Stanford 2021, and Baird put on a serving into the net and long clinic. From what I've seen this year, nothing has changed. I'd sub her out of the back row with a serving specialist for at least one-half rotation just to experiment -- I mean, it couldn't be much worse.
