With so many Summit League teams having a paywall like South Dakota State, it makes me appreciate the free multi-camera productions of the South Dakota Yotes and Omaha Mavericks. SD State at home could make this a close match.

This is a major rivalry in other sports, but has been very one-sided in volleyball: SDSU dominated the D-II history, and USD has dominated the D-I history.
Things have been trending towards an SDSU breakthrough, although I’d be just fine dominating them for a while longer…………

This could just as easily have been a poll for University of San Diego against San Diego State University. I would have voted for a sweep for USD. I don't know the Dakotas that well.

I was always worried Coach Plitzuweit was going to take the Wisconsin job, since it is her home state. She did end up leaving this year for WVU. I think she probably would have gone Badger if asked, but we’ll see how it goes. Resurrecting a B1G school is a lot easier, as long as you get the right coach (I assume). Thanks for the compliment though! |
