Lots of upset ADs. A little poking around on the conference and school web pages gives me a good guess at the 2nd departure, and I wouldn’t be surprised if another seat is feeling warm after the past few years.

Looks like lots of change within that conference the last few years. Used to be 11 teams. Then they absorbed a bunch of what used to be the Heartland Conference. Then Tarleton State and TX A&M-Commerce left to become DI. Western New Mexico seems like it’s quite far away from the bulk of the conference, I would imagine that gig has some real tough trips.

The following schools have posted for HC on NCAA page. Le Moyne College (DII, Syracuse) Western Colorado University (DII) Lee University (DII, Tennessee) The Lee job seems risky. They hired a young female and then removed her mid-season and mid-pregnancy, so I’d have a hard time taking that job if I were planning to start a family. Add onto that the extra religious hurdles and I’d say their candidate pool will be a little older and a little more male heavy this time around.

Lee didn't "get rid" of her. She chose to leave to focus on her new marriage and new upcoming baby. The school had nothing to do with her leaving. They are a religious school, and they don't hide that, but I wouldn't say this job is "risky"

Truthfully, Lee seems like a formality with their interim coach. She played there and has been an assistant for a few years now. From the outside I would have to think it's hers unless she is not interested for some reason.

When informing recruits of the change, the interim initially said she already had other plans and that there would be a new coach. However, things can change, she may decide to apply as well.
