That was more a school thing. KU thought they’d have a broadcast team for the game but I just ended up being too difficult to manage volleyball and the 2:30 kickoff for KU/ISU football. ESPN will have a dedicated crew there for the match. I don’t know that this is true, but it feels like ESPN is doing some experimenting with volleyball in their programming to see iwhat it looks like from a business standpoint. I hope we get some decent viewing numbers for the match. Oh I know, but don’t advertise it then. They don’t owe us a broadcast, but if you’re gonna say you’ll do it, do it. Yeah, there are volleyball fans, who are different from NFL fans often. They will get you more ratings than arm wrestling, drag racing, etc. on Sunday afternoons in the fall! |

Hmm.. that looks familiar Lol, yes it does. I will say the Bears didn’t invent rock, paper, scissors, but I don’t think it’s even remotely a coincidence that this was posted up today. Feels like a bit of a two fingered “I see you” gesture. |

I was very disappointed for sure. To be fair, KU doesn’t know what to do with a 5-0 football team. Don’t know if the newfound excitement around their surprising success played a role, but if it did, good on them. I still wish the match had been broadcast. |

Anyone know what happens if the Georgia Tech v. Louisville match isn't over by 2? Does the Texas game get shown on ESPN 2 or ESPNU until the other match is over? After the fiasco of Sling and having to sign up for Vidgo, missing some of the game is just going to be the icing on this sh!tty cake
