Is Poulter still recovering from WC or did something else happen? she hurt her ACL, MCL, and meniscus this past weekend Makes you wonder if they brought her back too fast from her knee injury in early 2022. Has the ankle and knee injuries all been the same leg? Never really heard it put “hurt” acl. I have only heard partial torn or torn acl. Both of which requires surgery. Hopefully the rehabs hard because acl recovery is not easy.

With Poulter out for... well probably awhile, the setter situation definitely gets shaken up I hope they take a shot on EMP. she needs reps outside of Washington asap. Could be a good investment. Dilfer has been doing okay in Italy hasnt she? I wish SKT was more consistent in her outside sets, she’d be a good choice with her experience setting pretty much any spot on the court, but with the US’ system, her location inconsistencies to the outside won’t be accepted. Dilfer sets the middles well, but doesn't set the pins strong enough for USA standards. (she also cant play defense) It'll probably be Gray... which is boring.

I just used "hurt" cause the release is in italian and i dont know exactly what it is. I think everyone agrees she was rushed back from the spring injury (which made the WCH one later on a problem) this specific injury was a bit of a freak accident... maybe made worse by a weak knee

We all knew she wasn’t herself yet Karch kept making her play. She needed time off to recover and rehabilitate this past summer. I know accidents can happen at anytime but it was obvious her movement this past summer wasn’t her normal level. Something was wrong.

All of a sudden USA doesn’t look so deep at the setting position.

All of a sudden USA doesn’t look so deep at the setting position. She's ready, coach. Get her back in the gym!

Kubik 🤨 We can't convert a non-terminal outside to libero when they also can't pass Lol what? Megan Courtney and Kelsey Robinson were at times converted to libero on the NT because of their passing and defensive prowess accompanied by somewhat suspect offensive efficiency. Madi does none of these things at an elite level, and I don't belive she deserves significant time in the USA gym. Catch my drift?
