Purdue honored Ellis, Koch, Chinn, Schermerhorn, and Torrance last night. Coach Shondell has said no final decision has been made on who might possibly return. He hinted one (or two?) might be back. If any senior does return, they just won't be honored on Senior Night in 2023, just as Otec and Newton weren't in 2021 (and Clayton/Balensiefer weren't this year) as he feels they've already had that "senior" moment. Renner will be using her redshirt eligibility to return next year. (My guess is there's a possibility Schermerhorn could return? Purdue doesn't need any extra OHs.) How do you feel about Schermerhorn returning? I wouldn't hate it, but based on this season, I believe Hornung would be next in line for next season. Would Schermerhorn staying cause a transfer?

Tennessee’s Morgan Fingall and Kylie Robinson were honored on senior day but UT article mentions they still have the option to use another year, sounds like undecided for now. I almost forgot about Kylie Robinson. She didn't play this year, right?

I think she played a fair amount as a ds early in the season but I don’t recall seeing her when i watched Tennessee play against MS

Kubik and Knuckles are both confirmed not returning Maybe Knuckles will take a 5th year with Jaylen Reyes (if he takes a HC job) the way Schwarzenbach did with Tyler Hildebrand

I wouldn't mind Schermerhorn returning. She's done an amazing job this season and I think she'd be even better after one year under her belt as libero. However, I thought Hornung was really solid when Schermerhorn was hurt. Her serve receive wasn't as strong, but her defense was stellar. That's where I think Schermerhorn returning helps Purdue -- she's so aggressive in serve receive. Coach Shondell has said that's what Hornung has to work on -- being a go-getter and upping her aggression as leader of the back court. I wouldn't forsee a transfer if Schermerhorn stayed. Hornung seems to love the team and life at Purdue. Plus I think Coach Shondell would make them compete for the jersey the same way he made Jena and Marissa compete. He wouldn't just give Maddie the jersey.

Dilara Gedikoglu (Arizona, formerly Tulsa) has been honored on the Arizona volleyball Instagram. She has one year of eligibility left, but we will see if she transfers somewhere or will go back overseas.

Transfer I know that she has entered the graduate portal, but do know that she is weighing her options, as she had no intention of using her fifth year for a while. still isn’t 100% sure, but wants to see what opportunities will present themselves

Alright, this was the one I was the most curious about (for Arizona): Kamaile Hiapo. She was just honored on social media, and I know she’s been promoting this as her senior night for a couple weeks. I’m 99% sure she was set on using her fifth year somewhere else, but has now opened up all of her options. I’ve thought since the extra year was announced that she would use the year at BYU, and I’m not sure my gut isn’t wrong, if both parties want that. But seems like she’s much more open than I anticipated. She’s an amazing libero and I wonder how high up she could go. But I also think she might want to explore professional options too, now that Zyonna Fellows plans to play professionally now.

Kaley Rammelsberg (Indiana, MB) is listed as a senior, but as far as I can tell, isn't being honored on Senior Night. I wonder if she will stick around. I certainly hope she will continue with the Hoosiers.
