San Diego has been murdering their opponents. Nobody is even getting to 20 points against them in the past like 10 matches. That’s crazy

San Diego has been murdering their opponents. Nobody is even getting to 20 points against them in the past like 10 matches. That’s crazy They've been consistently sweeping opponents, but lots have teams have gotten to 20 against them in the past few weeks. In their past 10 games (all USD sweeps), 7 sets won by USD have gone to 20s: Pacific -20, Santa Clara -22, Portland -24 (set won 26-24), BYU -20, -21, SMC -22, Pacific -23. LMU and Pepperdine (*WITH Ahrens) are the only 2 in-conference teams to take sets off USD. Last time USD faced LMU the game went 5 sets. LMU narrowly avoided a sweep and took the 3rd set 34-32. They carried the momentum into the 4th winning 25-21 and then lost steam in the 5th, which San Diego took 15-8. USD has been rolling recently so I don't expect this one to go 5 but LMU gave them a scare last time so you never know! |

LMU is very capable, so let's see if they can take a set or two or even steal a win. IMO, USD takes it 3-1, but with my prediction record, don't bet on it.
