why are more people not talking about this match? a ranked matchup? in provo?? nationally televised??? on a tuesday? (pst sucks but it’s chill) I’ve been eyeing this match for a while. Glad Paul is commentating so we can get some good in depth thoughts on the #2 team in the country. I’m happy it’s at 9pm CT bc I’m going to dinner and won’t miss any of the match lmao

I'll have to check this out and see what the hype is about San Diego. BYU will probably lose and hopefully San Diego can humble those smug/holier-than-thou Mormon peeps who think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Yes, I loathe BYU

My "San Diego deserves a Top 4 seed" agenda could really use a convincing win tonight, but a win of any variety will suffice.

My "San Diego deserves a Top 4 seed" agenda could really use a convincing win tonight, but a win of any variety will suffice. I actually don't think they should be a top 4 seed right now (pending possibly chaos in the B1G) but I certainly want them to win out so that I can watch the committee squirm as they explain why USD *didn't deserve* a Top 4 seed.

Nothing against BYU here, but I really want San Diego to win so that they'll force the committee to admit their hatred of mid-majors when they freeze the Toreros out of regional hosting.

If you are watching on ESPNU, be prepared to miss a good chunk of the match. ESPNU has the Bowling Green-Ohio football game scheduled from 4:00pm to 7:00pm (PST). College football games never end in 3 hours. Most take 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Hopefully they will start the game on ESPNews, not just on the ESPN app. It will likely be well into the 2nd set before ESPNU gets to the volleyball match. On this point, the second half of the football game just started at 6 PT (9 ET). It's rare that I see a game end in less than 4 hours these days.

One really thing that I cannot figure out is that my smart TV is buffering when I watch games on the WatchESPN app if the streams are coming from ESPNU/SECN/ACCN/etc. but they do not buffer for ESPN+. It makes no sense and I've tried everything to fix it. I have a couple alternatives, like an HDMI, casting, etc. but it's annoying. It doesn't make sense to be an internet thing as there's no explanation to buffer for one live stream and not the other on the same app/platform.

Is it better if you watch through your cable/streaming service's app instead?
