Yes .. the B1G should only get 6 teams in.
But they will put those 6 teams on the same side so that they can ensure no more than 2 B1G teams make the semifinals.

LOL you mean like what they actually did with the pac a year or so ago ? I mean what happens to the B1G just about every year for the last decade+ I would love to see the top 4 B1G, PAC, ACC, SEC teams not have to eliminate another top 4 team from within their own conference. |

The San Diego and Pittsburgh fans are going to be the most outraged come this evening . . . if Pitt is any higher than 6, they should be elated, they don’t deserve to be top 5, much less a top 4 seed. now San Diego fans can be as mad as they want, imo. I’m not sure what else they could’ve done to earn the a top 4 seed |

They will also take extra care to give the B1G runner-up the fourth best B1G seed.

This is my first time watching a full (not just Texas) season of volleyball and following along on VT and I just have to say I really enjoy the commitment around here lol Y’all are a dedicated bunch of fans and the discussion is hilarious. I cannot wait for the bracket reveal and the ensuing chaos 🤘🏾

This year it doesn't matter, but there is a Stanford rule in the committee bylaws.
The committee rules state that, "Stanford, regardless of their final PAC standings, is to be seeded higher than any other team in their conference."
