I hope the Yotes win too. I think their fans will be here (though it would be back to back weekends in Omaha). Still, it's not a terrible drive from Vermillion down I-29. I think that crowd will heavily favor the Yotes. A few years ago when Creighton hosted South Dakota in the first round of the NCAA tournament, SD had many fans and also brought their fairly large pep band and cheer squad. It will be interesting to see how many (Yote fans) were able to get tickets before the sell-out this year. I don't think the back-to-back weekends will be an issue, probably the opposite effect, as our other fall and winter sports are a little lackluster this season. Maybe Houston or Auburn will bring a healthy number, too? I guess we will find out Friday. Do you guys see more Creighton VB fans this year as opposed to back then, or about the same? Also, is there a secondary market for tickets? I wonder if any businesses bought bulk passes to distribute to employees....

The Yotes will certainly have the home court advantage in their first-round match. I think that Creighton had a slightly higher attendance before Covid. The arena is almost sold-out by season tickets holders, but unfortunately, 1/3 of the closest seats are empty for most matches. Some season ticket holders renew each year, but only attend a couple of matches, including the two seats next to my seats. I'm pretty sure that there isn't a secondary market aside from places like stubhub and ticketmaster.

The row in front of us I saw a rotating cast all year. In the Big East title game, the row was close family friends with Ava's parents (I asked, because they were definitely there for Ava). For the secondary market, I'd add Craiglist just to cover my basis. I've never had an issue with buying/selling there, but I do know others have, so buyer beware. It's still a place where you can find a surprising deal here and there.

Also, is there a secondary market for tickets? I wonder if any businesses bought bulk passes to distribute to employees.... I would imagine this would be limited to sponsors/big boosters. DJ Sokol is not big enough to accommodate "large groups." The tix "held back" for season ticket holders and students (I'm sure there will be some) would prevent this on a large scale. It also looks like soccer's elite 8 with Duke is at 1/Noon Central. Doubt the NCAA would want this, but if it was a 4 PM or 5 PM game, I'd like them to have a viewing party ahead of volleyball, allowing the fans to tune up a bit. Noon Central is a bit early for anyone to want that though.

I have access now to several seats in Section 104 next to Houston's allotment through a promotion code.

I have access now to several seats in Section 104 next to Houston's allotment through a promotion code. That's likely where the Marquette fans/family were in the Big East title game. It's right behind the visitors bench for sets 1 and 3 for most matches. (MU was the 1 seed, so it was backwards in the title game). My usual seats were opposite that and higher up.

What are the deepest runs Creighton has made? they made the S16 in 2015 before falling to top seed USC... in 2016 they made the Elite8 going 5 in all three matches, beating UNI in the opening round then they upset 5 seed Kansas in Lawrence, and then they knocked off 12 seed Michigan in the Austin Regional before falling to 4 seed Texas

Creighton is making their 12th NCAA tournament appearance and 11th consecutive. The Blue Jays are 46-45 (.505) in sets played, reaching the Elite Eight in 2016 and the Sweet Sixteen in 2015.
Auburn is making their 2nd NCAA tournament appearance and first since 2010. The Tigers are 3-3 (.500) in sets played winning their first round match in 2010.
