Another year, another goofy first-round SEC draw. How we feeling? I'm glad that South Dakota doesn't play Creighton in the first round. Creighton will probably sweep Auburn and Houston likely will be too much for South Dakota, although I hope I'm wrong and will be cheering for the Yotes. Tickets went on sale for Creighton seaason ticket holders at 7:30 and seats are getting taken up very quickly. If anyone plans to buy tickets through the Creighton website, they go on sale to the general public tomorrow at 10 AM. |

Considering that Arkansas - who is good, but not great - made Auburn look extremely pedestrian last week, I am pretty sure that Creighton will cruise.
But that's why you play the games, I guess.

Looks like this is all sold out, according to ticketmaster I was able to get in on the pre-sale, but I didn't do it Sunday evening. By about 7:30 AM yesterday, many tickets were unavailable. I got 2 of the 4 I could have. I was a little surprised about the limited availability at that time. I was not able to get my season ticket seats, but I think I might improved my seats a bit (closer to the middle, a little higher up below the cameras). My kids are a little young, and come tournament volleyball, we want to watch volleyball. So we take them to the regular season matches, but find babysitters for the Big East final and this weekend. |

Looks like this is all sold out, according to ticketmaster I was able to get in on the pre-sale, but I didn't do it Sunday evening. By about 7:30 AM yesterday, many tickets were unavailable. I got 2 of the 4 I could have. I was a little surprised about the limited availability at that time. I was not able to get my season ticket seats, but I think I might improved my seats a bit (closer to the middle, a little higher up below the cameras). My kids are a little young, and come tournament volleyball, we want to watch volleyball. So we take them to the regular season matches, but find babysitters for the Big East final and this weekend. did they sell them individually? I saw it just as a prepackaged-three game option which would kinda suck.... I want to see a healthy USD crowd in the first game lol |

A few years ago when Creighton hosted South Dakota in the first round of the NCAA tournament, SD had many fans and also brought their fairly large pep band and cheer squad. |

I actually prefer a bit higher up in volleyball. It's just easier to see everything. I'd like a little more center than our season tix, but my 5 yo daughter befriended the old guy behind us*, so I think we might be stuck for a bit. *I think he's a grandpa and they make faces at each other. His wife is always telling him to behave, and I just don't care. She's having fun, he's having fun. Let them be silly. |
