I need to go read through the Selection Show thread and see who was indignant that Auburn made the tournament... so they can (barely) beat a team whose starting setter just went out with injury. Doesn't really prove that they belong. |

I don't think it's really that odd that a team could be competitive in the tournament but at the same time didn't necessarily deserve to be in the tournament. With the limited number of at-large bids, that's always been the case. I'm NOT saying anything in particular about Auburn - I don't follow them - just making the point generally. |

KBB said Kendra was out with a concussion. The setting position is arguably the most important on the court. Schmidt did very well and deserves credit. But this isn’t on KBB of the others. BlueJays look out of sorts for most the match. In and out of being effective enough to win. Also Auburn played very well. |
