Missouri should be moving up quite a few spots after their sweep of Tennessee. To about 17? Wonder how far down USC and Tennessee will fall. Poll should be out tomorrow even though it's Labor Day.

What they should do is move MU up to about 15 and put Tennessee at 16, but I doubt either moves that far. USC and Hawaii will probably drop several spots.
Top 10 will be: 1. NU 2. UW 3. Stanford 4. Penn State 5. Minnesota 6. Florida 7. Hawaii 8. Wisconsin 9. USC 10. UCLA
Just on the outside, teams like Louisville, Arizona, Texas A&M, as teams ahead of them all lost at least once. It's still early, but I'm not sure I remember a year when there were so many top 25 losses this early in the season. Lot of shuffling will be going on.

Gatorvball:
I like your poll but personally, I would swap Penn St. and Stanford (even though Stanford did beat Penn St.). Anyway, I thought you have a pretty solid prediction -- in terms of how the new poll may pan out (for the top 10).

Notre Dame just squeaked by ASU (which has a lot of close losses this year).
As usual, 15-25 or 30 will be the toughest teams to rank. And where does the Pac10 fall? It's way too easy to inflate their rankings. But this week will help:
USC plays Florida, TAMU and Notre Dame (that's going to be a nice tournament) Arizona has UCSB and Santa Clara UCLA @ Hawaii (and @ Wisconsin the following week) Cal has San Diego Washington has no one until Hawaii, but we know they are good. Too good and experienced to have the pre-season schedule they have.
6 teams in the top 15? I dunno. That's what I have and it's giving me the heebie-jeebies.

I should check my schedule to see if any good matches will be played in my area. It's just that I hate smelling other people's sweat, albeit female sweat. And gyms and arenas have that sweaty atmosphere. Okay, I'll check Santa Clara, Stanford, USF, and Cal, in addition to Cal Poly.

Bring along a jar of Vick's Vapo-Rub and keep dabbing a bit on your upper lip.
Word of advice: Do NOT use it as dip for your nachos.

Very nice tourney at Santa Clara this coming weekend: highly ranked teams, nearby venue, plentiful free parking, cheap admission, good ventilation system, etc. From the SCU website's schedule: 09/08/2005 Arizona vs. UC Santa Barbara Santa Clara, Calif. 4:30 PM 09/08/2005 SCU vs. Fresno State Santa Clara, Calif. 7:00 PM 09/09/2005 SCU vs. Arizona Santa Clara, Calif. 4:30 PM 09/09/2005 UC Santa Barbara vs. Fresno State Santa Clara, Calif. 7:00 PM 09/10/2005 Arizona vs. Fresno State Santa Clara, Calif. 12:30 PM 09/10/2005 SCU vs. UC Santa Barbara Santa Clara, Calif. 3:00 PM

I just might be there!
