I could post a picture I took of the miserable friends & family section for FDU, but.....will just leave them be.
The players were genuinely happy to just be here. No tears after the loss. Just hugs.

I obviously wanted Texas to win, but there were many times where I couldn’t help but root for FDU they just looked so happy everytime they got a kill, dig, or block |

There was a gal hugging a guy happy as can be behind Akana's interview. That's the happiest I've ever seen a player after a tournament loss. Definition of just happy to be there. |

Weird as in it makes it all the more satisfying? Yes, it is weird in that way.
