Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this process!! ❤️ #OnWisconsin Is this really an academic transfer like it was supposedly? How is Wisconsin's Biomed Engineering program?

Is this really an academic transfer like it was supposedly? How is Wisconsin's Biomed Engineering program? USNews has the engineering undergrad programs at #18 vs #29, so that's comparable. The ranking of the actual grad program is behind a paywall.

The ranking of the actual grad program is behind a paywall. In 2015 it was 24, that was a while ago but the top 10 lists I’ve found have also matched the top ten on this list m.university-list.net/us/rank/univ-1038.htm

She doesn't have to use the graduate transfer route. She can transfer using the normal transfer process which would allow more flexibility on what she does academically in the fall. As a prediction, she likely will attend Wisconsin only for the fall semester.

"Including she aspires to play professionally after her season at Wisconsin." Objection, irrelevant you honor.
TTA told us what we wanted to hear as Wisconsin volleyball fans [excerpts from the article linked above]:
1. "Thomas-Ailara sifted through a pile of offers and had narrowed her choices down to three schools — Pittsburgh, Florida and UW. All three met her two prime requirements — a top-level volleyball program and a campus hospital where she could pursue her health care career goals. 2. 'Good team cultures are what I was targeting and then the people at the school made the difference. I loved everywhere I went but I felt like I really got along with the people at Wisconsin.' 3. 'I'm excited,” she said. 'I feel like it definitely leaves room for me to grow more as a player and kind of put on different hats on the court and try to figure out how to grow as a passer, as a defender, as a blocker and a server and other parts of my game. Whereas I felt like I had to be the big attacker at Northwestern and made sure like I was always on in that sense. So I think it leaves more room for me to grow and other aspects of my game.' ”
So, TTA will spend her final season kicking butt for the Wisconsin Badgers; it's incontrovertible. In the context of the 2023 NCAA Women's D1 Volleyball season, it's all we need to know.
