Maddy Chinn (Purdue) to Northwestern for her 5th year. Per her Instagram. I can’t figure out how to link it🤦🏻♀️ In case you'd like to know how to add an Instagram post in the future, here are the steps: 1. When you're drafting a post and you're in that "Create Post" workspace, click the gray button with the icon that looks like this: </>. That's the "Insert Embed" button. 2. When clicked, it will open up a box with nine icons, each one associated with twitter, instagram, facebook, etc. In this case when you want to embed an Instagram post you would click the one that looks like a camera. 3. After clicking the camera, a box opens up which has a white area where you would paste the web address URL you copied from the Instagram post. Once you paste that address click the "Embed" button in that box and what looks like a blank Instagram post will show up in your workspace. Click the "Create Post" button like normal and your VolleyTalk post should display the original instagram post.

Not everyone recognizes every volleyball player's Instagram screen name.

If Penn state landed her I would call the feds cuz there would HAVE to be some bribery shenanigans going on. It would be the single greatest off season a team has ever had for sure Who are the PSU transfers so far?

It would be the single greatest off season a team has ever had for sure Who are the PSU transfers so far? Mruzik from Michigan. Perguni from coastal Carolina Padroza from Ohio state Camryn Hannah from Clemson Van eekren from high point. Very solid additions, like extremely solid. They may not be the big names like Texas got last year, but imo they’ll make more of an impact. If they landed sauer, that would of just been icing on the cake

Who are the PSU transfers so far? They may not be the big names like Texas got last year, but imo they’ll make more of an impact. I don't completely understand what people mean when they say this. Texas went from an Elite Eight to a national championship with 5 transfers (6 including SKT from the previous year, which I understand we're not counting). A first team AA. A 2nd team AA. Another starter who was a 2nd team AA previously. Another sometime starter who was a multi year starter for her p5 team. A DS with the winning ace in the championship match who played as a DS for a team in the national championship match the previous season. And a pivotal backup at setter with multiple years as a P5 starter. I guess I don't understand how this group at Penn State is going to be even more impactful. Maybe they will. I'm not trying to be dismissive of the transfer class. It's impressive, and it still might get better with another window coming up. I'm just looking for a little clarification in terms of what that means.

A lineup of Para, Kahahawai, and eggleston on the pins, would of still been amazing. As well as their freshman middle and Orie (blanking on the name right now). Then baby spice at libero. Yes those players made Texas better, no doubt about that, but Penn state just lost their all world coach, and put together a class that will compete in the big ten. So I guess it all depends on how you view impact, but I think Penn state needed their players more than Texas needed theirs if that makes sense?

I was just looking for an explanation. I think I'm having deja vu. We may have had this conversation already on this thread. In any case, I appreciate the thoughtful reply.

It all depends on what you think "impact" is. In a certain regard there is no bigger impact than winning a national championship, and Texas probably doesn't do that without Fleck and Skinner. The other transfers? Important but you can still win without them. But that team without any transfers still is at worst a high 2 seed (no lower than 6 overall). PSU, on the other hand, was probably dropping down to 5th - in the B1G! Podraza alone gives them a massive upgrade and then you add arms like those, and now people are talking about them challenging for a B1G title and Final Four appearance. So there's the question - is it a bigger impact to go from the 30th best team to the 6th best team, or from the 6th best team to the best team? I think there's room for debate.

Being the champion is hardest as the rest is subjective and irrelevant.
