My understanding is that SA can use the transfer portal only one time as an undergraduate. How long before an undergraduate SA sues to be allowed to transfer 2 or more times during their college career? I am not advocating this, but just not sure what grounds there are to justify limiting transfers. you can enter it more than once, there is just restrictions for transfers beyond the first time. 2nd time transfers are required to sit a year but there is a waiver process and lately it seems those waivers are being approved more & more If you transfer once, and the coach at the new school leaves/is let go -- if you go to a second school-- do you still have to sit out?

If you go to a 3rd school, 2nd transfer, Technically by rule of the NCAA yes. But that may something they grant the waiver for, up to NCAA waiver process at that time and not an automatic waiver like the one time transfer

Another one on her 3rd school - started at Ole Miss. Good luck to her!!! (New Brunswick and Morgantown - she is definitely not in it for the scenery!)

There’s an exception to the transfer portal window, where you can enter it immediately after a coaching staff change. That would lead me to believe there might be an exception to the one time transfer, for coaching changes. Don’t quote me on that though.

Not trying to generally defend West Virginia, but Morgantown and a lot of Appalachia is very pretty nature-wise. As long as you keep your eyes off the ground and you're not a stickler for indoor plumbing. Jokes aside, it's kind of a humanitarian crisis. :/

Texas A&M - Corpus Christi, Libero Carissa Barnes has updated her IG profile to read "Texas volleyball". One season of eligibility remaining so most likely a grad-transfer. www.instagram.com/carissa_barnes/

I would not have used the word "pretty." But like I said, it's not the 90s anymore.

Fall is an amazing time of year in that area. Morgantown itself is not much to look at….
