she’s getting private lessons from Mireya in Atlanta until summer when she’ll join the NT and then a club in the fall OH. i thought she was graduating early for some reason. nope, not till May |

Is that because it’s a league above or below where you think she should be? oh neither. The emojis don’t mean anything lol It makes sense. She doesn’t want a pro vball career (afaik). Go somewhere warm, short season, good experience Oh Ok. I know very little about volleyball and nothing about pro-volleyball except what you post so I thought it meant something. Lol |

I know nothing about pro...is Macerata a good pro team/play in a good league? one of the worst and on the verge of relegation to the lower league… but she’ll hopefully get playing time right away against the best players in the world (sorry yes italy serie A1 is the best league in the world though) |

I know nothing about pro...is Macerata a good pro team/play in a good league? one of the worst and on the verge of relegation to the lower league… but she’ll hopefully get playing time right away against the best players in the world (sorry yes italy serie A1 is the best league in the world though) Wow good for Claire. Should be an incredible experience playing at that level even if it's for one of the weaker teams. |

It seems like a horrible choice tbh. She’s undersized and isn’t a good passer. A god awful Italian league team where she’s gonna get worked in SR and probably be one of her teams only offensive options. I think it’s going to be bad for her confidence and stock in pro leagues going forward.

A god awful Italian league team where she’s gonna get worked in SR and probably be one of her teams only offensive options. I think it’s going to be bad for her confidence and stock in pro leagues going forward. eh, confidence depends more on her than how she performs. you know more than I do about professional volleyball, but if she wants to get better quicker, this is how to do it. she'll have hopefully a long leash and be able to practice serve receive over and over again against some of the better servers in the world. she'll have the ability to try different shots (other than sharp cross) without feeling like she's losing the game for the team (cough my girl mac may cough) |

In a case like this playing against teams *way* better than your team doesn’t always help you get better. Like this team is just so bad compared to the mid and top teams. I think she could get better playing on a solid German or polish or French team playing against solid competition with an actual competitive team around her |
