Interested to see if anyone else is seeing this but it appears Texas is baiting teams to serve Logan; as she will stand in SR initially but upon serve from the opponent she steps aside and the DS or libero step to take it. I’m going to rewatch but I’m certain I saw that a few times at the game. Clever if that’s a thing. I noticed it against FDU as well, as soon as the server would serve, Logan would fade out and a little would take it, ESPECIALLY on cross court serves |

During warmups, my wife was watching Georgia go through their serving lines. She said to me (I was looking at my phone instead), "Everything they're serving is either in the net or long". I said jokingly, "Eeeh, they're just faking us out".
Looking at the box score Georgia 8 SE, Texas 7 SE. So, kinda a wash.
But during the second half of the second and third sets I kept thinking, "Man we really have Georgia on it's heels. They're just scrambling to stay above water"
And the feared Georgia block never really appeared and the dormant, snoozing Texas block woke up.
And the defense played lights out.

I would guess a David Hunt addition. |
