Also so happy that San Diego was able to get a great crowd turn out which was a big question mark imo i didn’t think it would be a problem seeing how much volleyball is played down there from a Club perspective. It’s close enough to Orange County which is a quicker drive than LA. Add this with a significant alumni, student and community push and they got good attendance.

like I just don't understand how you could watch San Diego play and legitimately not think they are one of the best teams in the country, but you know...non Power 5 🙄 Truthfully I called that they wouldn’t get a top 4 seed at the beginning of the season but I watched a lot of their matches there weren’t many threads due to lack of interest and them not being in a power 5 and cruising through their schedule. They have looked good most of the season with the exception being the last few matches where they didn’t play their best on the road. They definitely have all the pieces though. This should silence the doubters but it’s still early and won’t be an easy win.

It's not just the fans 🙄

That bump set by Blossom to Lukes was insane. Even when it looks like she has no chance, she just puts up a perfect ball for her hitters

If you watched any of their games during their conference games (granted, only a few of their home games in conference are competitive), I feel like it was a toss up to see even 100 people in the crowd… for a team as talented as they are, and an area where volleyball is as popular as it is, it’s unfortunate showings for the Torreros

They knew the assignment - we sucked at attendance during the season, so let’s do whatever we can to get these ladies as close to a packed house as possible and a crowd they deserve.
