agreed, tbh I thought she was going to be the full time DS for Wilson coming into the season but it obviously has not been NEARLY that simple. I just hate that she passed a 1.7 this year. that doesn't have much to do with position on the court

That's certainly how I viewed it. 

It's like the backup quarterback or point guard transferring to be the starter. I have no more resentment of Fields transferring than I do Hudson Card. 

I miss seeing her in a Longhorn uniform because she's so gifted and so much fun to watch. She put Texas on her back multiple times during her career. I wish her nothing but success, and continue to enjoy watching her in a USC uniform. I know she throws shade at Texas regularly, but I choose to ignore that and be glad that she seems to be enjoying herself. I hope she reaches all her career goals in volleyball. 

But with Skinner on board, it's not like she was a huge loss. Like I said previously, both Fields and Texas are better off with her departure.

USC has lots of young pieces to work with. I am optimistic about them in the B1G.

They improve defensively (ball control and block) in the next couple years and they are back to the team we expect with the name 'USC' to be under the nearly 20 years Mick was there.
