Annie Cooke with 4 aces today. Makes sense, she was supposed to be an ay2013 all-star too, but Houston went to a 6-2.

Houston libero is really good. Two great digs against Auburn middle < -- say her name.

I don't know what's happened to the Houston offense. These tips are just awful. Tension/fear? As a life-long, formerly competitive, tennis player, I know it can be hard to swing freely and not "push" when the tension is high.

There's something about Minnesota high school volleyball that makes players hard to judge and results in them going under-recruited. I think it's just played at a very high level, with a ton of quality players, so players just don't dominate as much as in other states and it's hard to know who will do really well at the next level but isn't "obviously elite". Juhnke, Melville, Thompson, &c all come to mind. And Kemp from Auburn -- I thought "Hm, if she can't dominate at this level, how is she going to Auburn?" when she played at Eagan, but here she is, starting and looking great, in the 2nd rd of the NCAA tourney. But wouldn't their club performance be analyzed too, which is against a broader range of opponents?
It's an interesting theory, but I'm not totally sold on "it's so good it's hard for players to stand out." Aren't there other states with really good and deep volleyball? Is it a problem there too?
No, bc you have Northern Lights... and that's it. It's not like there's a shortage of clearly elite talent either -- Tapp sisters, Wilhite, Hilley, Ashburn, SSS, Mosher, Martin, just off the top of my head. That next tier doesn't really get a shot at high-level club.

I was just about to say keep setting Kortlyn - but damnit - she's about to rotate out (if this challenge goes Houston's way)
she's the only one swinging at this point (and sometimes the middles)

I like the view from the space station. I think that one's conclusive.

I want Auburn to win because they are actually swinging at balls Won't matter who wins 'cause STAN is rolling...destroying LSU (who beat AUB and lost to HOU) 25-11 and 20-12 right now...

The "conclusive evidence" drinking game could be played during almost any match and you'd be drunk by the end since it's said on nearly every challenge - sometimes more than once.
