Is VM loaded yet? Really curious on the passing numbers (and the Mimi D-ball kills/attempts lol) Lol 1. She only had 5 swings on D balls. As for passing, Oregon slightly outpassed NE, mostly because Batenhorst got worked a bit. Nebraska
Rodriguez- 2.35 / 58.8 GP% Kubik- 2.17 / 51.3 GP% Batenhorst- 2.06 / 41.2 GP% Oregon
Murphy - 2.31 / 43.9 GP% Nuneviller- 2.18 / 44.4 GP% McClellan- 2.19/ 51.9 GP% Thank you. Posters were barking at Murphy/McClellan early but I suspected over the course of the match they evened out and were solid overall in a long matchh in a really tough environment.

Is VM loaded yet? Really curious on the passing numbers (and the Mimi D-ball kills/attempts lol) Passing:Nebraska (overall): 2.19, 50.5% GP Batenhorst: 34 att, 2.06, 41.2% GP Kubik: 39 att, 2.17, 51.3% GP Rodriguez: 17 att, 2.35, 58.8% GP Oregon (overall): 2.23, 46.4% GP Murphy: 41 att, 2.31, 43.9% GP Nuneviller: 36 att, 2.18, 44.4% GP McClellan: 27 att, 2.19, 51.9% GP okay regarding the D balls I'm not entirely sure how this works but it looks like 3 kills in 5 swings lol if someone can corroborate/correct me please do so jwvolley described this as Oregon "slightly outpassed" Nebraska. Just curious - is that conclusion based entirely on the 0-3 point scale figure? Or, does the good pass % get factored into the analysis as well? In other words, does 2.23 > 2.19, trump 50.5% > 46.4%?

Tbh I hadn't looked at the overall GP%, not sure I'd stand by that statement anymore.

How many receptions did Oregon's short passers take? Nebraska served about 120 times (based on points won) and only missed 5. There's a chunk missing there.

Nebraska might have a better good pass percentage (but honestly it's pretty close anyways) the discrepancy in the point scale could probably come from Nebraska having slightly more bad passes to contrast their good passes whereas Oregon was more average? but the passing was not the difference in this match imo

it was a pitiful showing by the Husker fans They're just trolling Nebraska fans. It's not worth responding to them. I get that, but the number of Nebraska fans actually there was not good. I do agree "it's not that far" is stretching things more than a bit.

PS, has someone made a gif of that serve yet? cuz I need it HAHAHA Georgia had her meme moment, and missed some digs in set 1, but IMO she had a pretty solid day. She worked quietly and passed a lot of court today. All very true and correct, but you gotta admit that "serve" was unique and warrants a gif. No shade to her, just something that should be captured for its rarity.

Well done by Oregon. They made the plays they needed to in the end. Obviously, it's not the ending Husker fans wanted, but also not very surprising either. It just never felt like this team was able to sustain the level they needed to win against great teams and their record in those matches bears that out. Ultimately for the Nebraska fans, I think this will always be a season of what-ifs. Probably the largest is what might have happened if Nebraska just committed to the 5-1 with Hames months ago. I look forward to Oregon in the next match, and to a new look Nebraska next year. Really well said, huskergeek . Major props to the Ducks, they got the job done when it came to crunch time.
On the what ifs, I also have to wonder how the season might have gone if Kennedi had not had that setback from her additional knee injury.
Thanks to the seniors, what an admirable group of young women. I couldn't be more proud. They all lived the WEOFEO spirit.

I get that, but the number of Nebraska fans actually there was not good. I do agree "it's not that far" is stretching things more than a bit. It's pretty easily explainable. It's over 700 miles away, we didn't know if we'd be hosting until the final weekend of the season, most people don't have the ability to just take off work for three days on short notice (Wednesday for travel, match Thursday, and either travel home Friday or stay for the Saturday match). Plus it's at 11am on a work day, so any Nebraskans who live within a couple of hours would still have to take a day off work at minimum on short notice. We are loyal fans. We are not gifted with unlimited resources. It is not surprising at all we didn't travel to Louisville and fill their stadium.
