Definitely sliced and diced WI with her hitting. They’re setting her ten times quicker than Nebraska does.

The theory makes so much sense, but I then notice how many times Lexi puts up a high ball 4-5 feet off of the net and Madi, Ally, Lindsay, or Whit put it away. Having time to gather and see the D seemed to almost always lead to a really good attack. It makes me think that our hitters benefit most from consistently good placement and that that has to be priority #1.

The couple times I've heard Coach talk about quicker setting, I think he's indicated they have tried it over the years but never had the crew to quickly set and hit with accuracy.

Why in the world is she? She has the potential to be fantastic? What is happening? Just because you have great potential or are great at something doesn’t mean you’re required to do it. Did I say she was required to do it? It’s like Whitney Houston not singing. I just find it sad.

Also, Beason has a great serve!! She was top 3 in the SEC in aces and her opponent good pass percentage was really impressive. That will be a huge asset for us as we’ve lost a bunch of servers the past couple seasons.

Nice article about a mature twenty year old or soon to be. Matter-of-fact and introspective. She knows what she wants more clearly now after two years at Florida. Nebraska, is a volleyball school of national championship caliber and pedigree, who has players going here to compete for that goal yearly. Besides the adoring fans in the stands(8,000 plus per match) and out on the streets, playing in the Big Ten and the other variables associated with being a rock star celebrity as a volleyball student-athlete.

I also like her back row attacking. She gets a long run up to the hit and strikes with alot of power. She looks like a Husker. Glad she chose Nebraska.
