Never again, Lexi. Not like this 2023 better be what she deserves You literally woke up today and thought "what a wonderful day to make everyone depressed" Depression fuels redemption. And as much as this season left me with less than optimal expectations at the end, this still isn't a Sweet 16 program and we shouldn't be ok with it!

Assuming JCook will be looking for at least one new assistant this year. Maybe the last hire of his career.

Oh I'm never ok with any post-season loss lol. I can only mourn for about a week and then impatiently wait and wait and wait for next August haha

I wonder who will win the spots at the pins. Krause looks the best of the all. Batenhorst is getting kills now, but can be pretty high error. Whit same thing. All three clearly improved a lot from last year. Lindsay plays with a lot of fire and has been steady since the end of october. Ally is swinging harder and she’s gotten do much better at swinging for the hands. Whit even took a few nice swings down the line over the Nunneviller a couple times. I’m interested to see which of these three don’t play if Murray comes in hot. Batenhorst's passing the last two+ weeks impressed me tbh. I beg they spend the spring/whenever working on Ally's contact point. I'm begging for that too!

I don't think we have heard the final word from this 2021 class. A lot of what has happened to them the last 2 years is this silly Covid rule that gave every class before them an extra year of play. This group won't ever be Super Seniors due to Covid; but will have to face these Super Seniors every year they play. Every year it will even out a little more though. Last year was amazing what they did in a final's run. 2022 seemingly was a lost year with injuries, but they will learn from this and improve. 2023 I expect them to overachieve, which is hard for a team with so much hype going in. There is a huge maturity difference between being 18 VS being 20 and playing against 23 year old Super Senior players. They are now the leaders of this program and I expect big things from them in 2023 and in 2024. Had the Covid rule not happened (it shouldn't have) wouldn't be having this same conversation. It did, the 2021 class is the most punished class because of it. The work for the 2023 revenge tour starts now.

Assuming JCook will be looking for at least one new assistant this year. Maybe the last hire of his career. Honest question, why would you assume they’ll be looking for a new assistant coach?

Alright since we already have the thread, let's just go for it and list who you want to see on the schedule for next year lol. The teams that we know will be on the schedule are Creighton, Stanford, Lou/Ken (Iirc I think this format between the 4 schools is supposed to guarantee 1 home game and 1 away game and Neb/Stan and Lou/Ken always play each other every year meaning Neb has to go to Stanford and to avoid Lou coming here again it would mean Ken coming here).
Other teams from my "pool" to pick from would be Texas, Florida, Pitt, USC.
*edit* Although now that I thought about it Lou played at Ken and at Stan this year so I must have remembered wrong lol
