I guess I am basing it off rumors and the assumption that these two assistants won't want to work with each other anymore or JC won't want them too. if they were going to change assistants they would've done it when the supposed events happened. No, they swept it under the rug. Jaylen is gone... with this many HC openings available, the time to move is now.

Honest question, why would you assume they’ll be looking for a new assistant coach? I guess I am basing it off rumors and the assumption that these two assistants won't want to work with each other anymore or JC won't want them too. Curious as to what makes you think this?

Alright since we already have the thread, let's just go for it and list who you want to see on the schedule for next year lol. The teams that we know will be on the schedule are Creighton, Stanford, Lou/Ken (Iirc I think this format between the 4 schools is supposed to guarantee 1 home game and 1 away game and Neb/Stan and Lou/Ken always play each other every year meaning Neb has to go to Stanford and to avoid Lou coming here again it would mean Ken coming here). Other teams from my "pool" to pick from would be Texas, Florida, Pitt, USC. *edit* Although now that I thought about it Lou played at Ken and at Stan this year so I must have remembered wrong lol I could go for a rematch with Oregon!

I’ll grant you recruits ranked anywhere in the top 100 can turn out to be All Americans. But a likely final four with Stanford, Texas and Wisconsin doesn’t scream parity to me. Sure more teams can make the top 25, but the list of programs with a chance to win the natty isn’t growing by much. Well last year's final four included Louisville and Pittsburgh. And this year, we're not yet at the final four. Keep watching. You're right the Final Four did include those two power 5 teams, but which two ended up in the ship match?? Oh wait

I really agree with so much of what y'all have had to say on this thread. So many good takes and questions about what we're going to look like next season. I as always, will try not to get too ahead of myself, but I do believe next year will be the start of a dynasty. Many times throughout this season I would tell myself: it's not happening this year, I didn't ever lose my faith, but I was ready because we aren't probably going to be at Omaha. The loss yesterday sucked but again, was I surprised? Not one bit. I'm ready to move on, and I am more than ready for 2023. Can't wait for these recruits to get here and for this group to gel. In the meantime let's plz pick up a high quality transfer LI/DS. Maryland's comes to mind. A back row of Lexi, Choboy, and another Knuckles-like upperclassman would be amazing. Onto the off season and more importantly, the transfer tea. Ive already seen a false accusation (edited pic) of Orr on a FB vb group chat that made it look like she was in Austin already, lmao.

A trip home for Ally and a good RPI opponent. I dont think they've gone on the road (minus the Stanford/KY thing) since San Diego in 2019. Do you think they might have a deal to go to Long Beach?

Without a doubt Nebraska was one the 4 teams mentioned as playing in it. From what I understand the teams that he was proposing be involved in it had already agreed to do it. That said, no i's have been dotted, or t's crossed, so I don't want to get too far ahead of things. I'm also not hearing anything behind "closed doors" or anything like that. This is all articles and interviews put out there mid October, when Texas had an off week and practically the whole team went up to Dallas, Elliott included, to watch the Texas football team play in their annual clash against the Sooners.

On a similar note, I could see them scheduling Utah or BYU. I recollect Coach Cook saying that was part of recruiting Mendelson.
